Prof. Antonio Bianconi has done his PhD from the University of Rome with a thesis on Liquid Helium in the year 1969. Since 2012, he is a director of Rome International Center for Materials Science, Rome Italy, and Mediterranean Institute of Fundamental Physics (MIFP), Rome Italy. He has been the leader of many research programs, he has been a pioneer in the synchrotron radiation research projects in Italy, USA, France, Japan ect., he has proposed the European Synchrotron Research facility ESRF machine and has been in the first scientific commission of ESRF. He is the author of 7 books and more than 350 publications in international scientific journals. He has h-index of 79 a total of more than 21181 citations.
