We are working tirelessly to organize the in-person event, but the increasing number of travel and hotel restrictions and the uncertainty around the world means it will be impractical for many overseas speakers to our event in Boston.
Ever since the lockdown started, the organizers of the NWC-2020 have been in constant discussions with our venue partners, board members and the local supporting staff to stay abreast of the challenges and complexities in the face of disruption due to COVID-19. CDC guidelines says large in-person gatherings are still a high COVID-19 risk, where it is difficult for participants to remain spaced at least 6 feet apart and attendees travel from outside the local area.
Many universities still have travel restrictions for its staff and the state policies not relaxing the orders for meeting in large conference rooms; this uncertainty preventing many attendees to join us for in-person meeting in Boston, leading to turn our NWC-2020 into a fully virtual conference.
The virtual event will feature the same high-quality lectures of the in-person meeting and the original program of the conference will be the same as much as possible. Your registration will be converted to the virtual event, so we very much hope that your presentation will create the same interest among the conference participants.
We will be using the Zoom based web application for live virtual presentations (Demo will be provided from Dec 1, 2020). The final program of the conference with presentation timings will be released before November 15, 2020.

NWC 2021 will be held in Boston, MA during October 18-20, 2021. Please mark your calendars and save the dates for NWC Boston event.
Together we will explore new possibilities and immerse ourselves in this outstanding community of professionals dedicated to improve the Nanotechnology and Nanosciences.
Three best poster awards for students will be given at the conference and the winners will be announced on the last day of the conference.
Winner will be chosen based on the visual appearance of the poster, clarity of concepts presented, audience engagement, technology advances and implications of the work presented.
